I bought this to backup my collection of mp4 films ive been converting from bluray and the speed of this stick far far surpases anything ive used before and writes at well over 200mb per second often hitting 300mb per second when writing from my ssd on my laptop

After a quick google i found that going into the settings to turn off indexing for the spotlight search on the usb largely improved the speed so if you’re using a mac and find it to be slow do that and it should solve your problem

My only gripe is that despite having good speeds the actual feel of the stick is a hard but matted plastic whilst it appears to be rubber

I bought it initially thinking it was rubber and would be more durable against drops etc but was disappointed that it’s just a matted hard plastic
