Pros

Shipped as expected, sanely packaged. Stopped my issues pretty much cold.

X8gb at 3600mhz is the fastest anyone reasonably needs to get a little extra performance out of gaming. Came back to some blazing fast ram running at 4400 mhz. Plugged into a msi tomahawk x570 board with an amd ryzen 9 3900x.

Cons

After installing in known good pc began experiencing freezing and crashing. Tried xmp, manually setting timings and voltage to spec, even tried lowering timings. Can only go as high as 3600mhz without crashing.

They didn't even give me a we're sorry that your product was faulty. They claim that i must return them both to ensure compatibility. That seems like utter nonsense.

This ram is misrepresented. It's not in the motherboard qualified parts list. Thankfully my motherboard bios has a fail-safe that resets ram speed upon several failed boots, or i would be hosed.

I bought these to pair with my ryzen 5 5600g.

He was able to use both 2x8gb 3200mhz sticks with no more crashes or errors in his games.

I tried this patriot viper 4 pvb416g320c6k 2x8gb ram kit with 3 different motherboards 2 amd 1 intel.

Apparently ryzen and amd boards are picky about ram.
