You do have to push the backings very close to the back of the ears

It is tiny and obviously has a feature groove to help itself clasp to the post so they do not fall off or get lost when pulling a sweater or shirt over your head or going about your day without them falling out

The problem is that one of these backs were not working and i kept pushing toward the post but it would not go any further than the very tip
