Just need a little paitence and a drill. Buy enamel finish, plastikote to make it waterproof, then you're finished. One slight problem is there is a chance they could chew through as mine has chewed at the front but not terribly.

As a lot of reviews already say you can’t really pull out the bottom tray as it will spill all the bedding back into the cage so we’ll have to lean over it and scoop that way

You will need to put some kind of plastic or coroplast on the ‘shelves’ to avoid wee getting into the wood and smelling

Instructions were poor and plastic front is rather flismy and not easy to clean as front doesnt open so bad back after cleaning lol

Definitely wouldn’t put a female syrian in this as they’re more demanding
