The mount works great, the reason why it only got 4 stars is because it did not come with the camera cover as stated in the description.
I was suspect of the quality since it wasn't a brand that i was familiar with.
Packaging/appearance
This has lasted me years and has survived 3 moves with pretty much non-existent packaging.
Competitiveness
This mount is much more stable than other competing mounts.
This mount seemed sturdier than most, so i forked over for its premium price.

As other reviewers posted it will feel like youre going to break when you go to pull back the grip but youre not if it does break i would send it back that shouldnt be your fault it has to have that resistance so that it will stay firm on the tv but if it breaks i would think yours is defective

You simply attach the kinect to the mount and place it on top of your flat screen tv

The cover can be removed without unmounting the kinect which is nice for those of you who want to use the kinect but not the camera at that time

The bracket hangs a tiny bit lower than the tv frame but not enough to block the tv image
