Yeah i got this as a backup when i bought my switch after i realized extra joycon controllers costed 80 and according to reviews joycons dont last very long and dont even handle adult use very well

When you first power up the switch sometimes the controller doesn’t give any input so you just have to unplug and plug the controller back in
