Pros
Each outlet has a dedicated switch so different components can be controlled individually. The universal outlet plug is not a dealbreaker. Works perfectly and offers plenty of power for my music production desk.
Cons
A loose nut, washer and two wires. Lights are very bright and no way to dim it. Maybe it's ok for a desktop, or with someone that has a 42u rack with space to spare.

I am very happy with the ability to switch each component in my studio and easily see if something is still on.
I choose the pyle and i'm not disappointed.
I have both styles of this product- the 8x switchable and the version with the pigtail power cords.
Folks with limited space may not be happy.
