Didn't wire up remote plugs so can not attest to its function.

It took 4 of these to get one that worked and didn't pop when plugged in.

If you want a good inexpensive power inverter this is the one.

I reviewed consumer reports prior to buying this, and have not regretted a penny i spent on it!

That is what i call an inverter, i was surprised at the size of the device, and it weight, when i opened take it out from the box.
