Pros

Both are great. I have two of these cases and my stepdaughter has one, as well. I use that one the most and it has survived the best, because it is me taking care of it. Awesome quality, typical pelican.

Pics is a size comparison of the 1615 and the 1535, it’s great for the money. I have a bunch of pelican gun cases and they work really well. Much more sturdy than the elite i had previously.

Cons

Trekpak dividers have a horrible chemical odor. Lasted 2 flights with some 40lbs of tools before breaking. Pelican's liability is limited to the case and not its contents or foam.

Only gripe is the sound of the wheel, but that’s a small gripe considering the quality of the case.

Would be nice if it came with the locking latches but with it being a carry on i can see why it doesn’t.

Weighs a little less than nanuk 935 or pelican 1510.

The interior volume seems to be a little smaller than the elite.
