It fits perfectly in the back of the boat behind my crate, strapped down with a bungee cord. It goes through gravel and semi rough terrain w no issues. I have mine under the seat with the strap going across the seat.

Only used it once so far but super easy to assemble, lightweight but feels sturdy. Was very easy to put together with no tools needed.

Cons

This item was advertised to be able to trailer a paddle boat but is not properly designed for that purpose. Not for pelican paddle boats. The straps old barely hold one kayak.

I tried several other brands and types of kayak carts none of which have the support bars oriented like this one.

I will not buy another pelican product because of this .

I don't have to compete with the big trucks and trailers loading and unloading motorboats at the launches.
