After arriving (sunday) i stopped at one of the bulk ice vending locations and filled the cooler to the top with 60# of ice.

Got home that evening and divided up the catch.

Packaging/appearance

I then poured the ice back over the fish and it was still packed the top.

If you are able to pack it with ice the night before it keeps the contents colder for a longer period.

Competitiveness

And i was impressed by the ease of use of the locks that pelican offers, instead of the thick rubber latches like on other high end brands.

These are better, sturdier than the yeti coolers.

It came down to the yeti hauler and this one won out.

I decided to get the pelican elite because of the wheels and it is comparable to yeti.
