Pros

The pelican argo is a great kayak for a beginner or intermediate paddler. For some $15 mods you can add some much needed foam to and make a great easy improvement to.

Seat and backrest are comfortable. Roomy, comfortable seat. Only negative is the foot rests are molded into the kayak so there is no adjustment. Long legged folks are out of luck but not a deal breaker.

This 10ft pelican kayak is almost as light as my wife's carbon fiber $1200 rig. It's fairly lightweight so i can load it and carry it myself. Light enough for one hand lifting and carrying.

Bought site unseen on line. Wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic with extra to reinforce each end. No scratches or dents.

Cons

They are so tippy. Flips instantly.

Poor tracking & flimsy. Tiny compartment is a joke. Unusable even in still water.

The size is perfect for this nearly 6-foot female and would easily handle someone with considerably longer legs.
