The beam distance is actually decent considering the low lumen output and can really be appreciated when in complete darkness. My only real complaint is the batteries, it takes four lr 41's. This one is perfect!

Even for such a small and relatively inexpensive light you can tell when you hold it that no corners were cut when it came to the construction

As for the brightness if youre looking to light up an entire room this will not do that

In my experience these are difficult to find and i would very much like to see an updated version of this light come out that takes a single a23 battery instead
