Pros

I'm a beginner kayaker and this kayak handle well. It's not perfect, but i can customize it to my liking at a cheaper price point than a $1k boat.

Quality material seems very durable. Got on clearance at a big box store for $185. Shipped by cevas.

There are several molded areas of the deck that capture and retain water. The middle console is a nice addition to holding water and your phone. Easy to paddle and maneuver.

This kayak is a joke. An inflatable for under 200 is a thousand times better. Big gash in the bottom.

You can't really raise your center of gravity much before it becomes uncomfortably unstable.

We got this at a great price and are very happy so far!

For the price it should be included.

Excellent for that price but still a good kayak for what they're asking here.

Shipping

I'm giving it 4 stars based on shipping alone.

#1 - free shipping took 2 days.

The delivery guy also commented that "they just aren't shipped very well" as to not take blame.

It came in a decent time, maybe 2 weeks, which isn't bad.

Packaging/appearance

Great kayak for 500 but packaging is horrible should be in a box and wrappped in bubblewrap

The box is not water tight so don't expect to protect anything if you take on water.

Competitiveness

But, there are a few oversights and weaknesses of this product that give it less than a five-star rating, in my opinion.

The seat is much more comfortable than the other kayaks i've used.
