    The knob controls are reversed on mine

    I couldnt figure out what the deal was until i started playing with it and saw that the heating portion was controlled by the fan speed and the fan speed was controlled by the thermostat

    However at one point i lifted this heater up to rearrange it and it did shut off telling me that the feature that shuts this heater off if it tips over does in fact work
