As a licensed electrician and certified pool tech, it's nice to see an oem quality product sold on amazon. They are cheep and sold here at amazon as well.

Fits well. Fits like a glove. Works perfect. Absolutely the best life saver lid.

Cleaned and reused the old o ring. Lubed the o-ring with gasket lubricant. Don't forget to buy a pressure gauge and bleed valve set.

Cons

Close but no cigar. Pentair is not what it used to be as far as production quality assurance, etc. Please look at alternative systems, like hayward, if replacing your pool equipment.

This replacement lid assembly was a perfect fit on our existing filter case and resolved the water leak the original lid caused.

The original pentair parts lasted 19 years in a corrosive chlorine and saltwater pool environment!

Lubed the o-ring with gasket lubricant (not petroleum jelly) and installed the o-ring and lid.

My old lid cracked and was not repairable even with epoxy.

They are cheep and sold here at amazon as well.

This is the direct replacement which did resolve the problem but i think it is a bit overpriced.

Need to shop for best value even on amazon.
