Pros

Took a couple of days to install. Warranty requires a licensed installer/authorized dealer. Compact enough in size, appears to be well constructed and most importantly it works very well.

Cons

This 60 sq ft filter is a great design but way undersized for almost any pool. The problem with pool filters is that due to custom sizing/dimensions one is tuck with what was done before or you only find the problem after a custom install. Have offici... Read More

Seems like the pentair quality hasn't dropped at all over the years.

Packaging/appearance

My pentair came by freight and i was surprised by the packaging.

I plumbed in this unit myself after my old pentair fns de filter cracked the lid.

I chose to pass on the backflush option as pool guy suggested that the filters are easy to remove and hose off.
