After about 10 years one of the 3way electronic valves began to fail on our pool due to what appears to be a failure of the waterproof seal causing the 12 switch to rust out

We have a total of 3 pentair electronic switches that are actuated a number of times per day and one failure of the three in 10 years seems like a decent reliability record assuming the other two keep working for a while

I have placed a cover on top of it so rain water does not hit it to decrease the chance of water exposure

To replace valve open it there will be water and rust

You can unplug the wire and w difficulty get the connector out of the hole
