The foot pad had worn down quite a bit and almost wouldnt keep a protector on

It works far better than my old unit which did good on the bottom but not the sides

Note install control valve in the bottom of the scupper and the valve kept coming out of the adapterfix was to use small stainless screws to attached the valve to the adapter

Another fix would be to have the adapter snap on instead of friction
