I read into that that the unit must be simple and relatively problem free at least in the first year or two of operation or the pool builders would pick something else

This pool and its aged heater came with the home when i bought it so i have no idea what type of metallurgy is in the original heater

As for the negative reviews relating to the condition of delivered equipment this particular unit weighs too much to be shipped without appropriate shipping protections
