Pros
Fits as intended. Highly recommended. Fit perfectly and seems to be good quality.
Heavy duty metal handle. Much more durable and sturdier. The handle is metal and stays upright, extremely sturdy.
Cons
Model 27180, generic hayward sp1070. Definitely not the oem for these skimmers.
The second basket split in one place the week later. It is completely rotted. Yes, it’s right-sized. As at least one other reviewer noted, the width of this basket is not 8.
The plastic is too light weight and fragile. These are really cheaply made. Plastic is already brittle and cracked at the handle. Needs to be more durable.
