Wiring it into the panel was not difficult. Easy install and worked as advertised for suntouch controller.
I figure for that kind of lifetime it's worth getting the original brand rather than a knockoff.
Once trimmed, all good and dry. Fit perfectly. Good readings instantly. Arrived in timely manner.
Cons
Buy 10k thermistor for $5 instead to measure air temperature thru pool controller. I couldn't install the orginal back, and the pool is still not working.

Works as expected and easy to install
The new sensor was a direct replacement, with the o-ring installed.
I swapped the older black wire on the terminal panel with the new white wire.
Price
Price was ok, i guess, especially when compared to asking your pool company to install one.
Packaging/appearance
Replaced the old sensor and only had to enlarge the hole in the pvc very slightly to get this to fit.
