Cons

The idea is good but it is a very poor design and cheep plastic. It also is flimsy. I'm sure it says that in the specs, but for a $20+ price tag i assumed this was built to last.

The cheap plastic plate bends around it. All of the mechanism is poorly designed affording no rigidity to any part of this product.

It doesn't take much to use it to scrape the algae off a pool wall.

Of course if you have a tablet chlorinator, just throw the partially ground up tablet in with your other tablets in the chlorinator.
