Highlights
Quality
Hardest part was pulling the old cable with the new cable but worked out great.
In any case, be aware that these led lights may not be fully compatible with the existing niche that you have.
I finally figured out that this new led light is not fully compatible with the old niche in the pool.
Price
They are way too high in price.
The price was way less than a quote from a pool store.
Competitiveness
This 30 watts led light is definitely brighter than the 400w halogen system i used to have.
Easy to install and working like a champ.
I had a regular pentair 400w halogen light before and it looks to be identical in size to this led light.

Installed this myself where a broken pentair incandescent light was

I was horrified when i received it that someone already cut the cord when heshe tried to install it
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The item clearly was not in very good condition and the cord is just too short for me
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I asked amazon customer support that they need to clearly document any reduced length in the cable if it was a previous customer return
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The cable cannot be spliced underground and any shortened length may render the light unusable

I struggled for over an hour trying to tighten the single screw at the top but it would not budge

One would assume that pentair would make everything backwards compatible
