Pros
This filter works like a charm. After $1200 bucks for upgrade installed in less than an hours, works great!
Easy to install and performs beautifully. Very easy to install when replacing identical model.
Great filter but inspect it upon arrival. Packaged very well and fast delivery. Had a couple of scratches.
Pentair's specs were spot on. Larger filter fit the footprint of the old filter. Mounted onto my existing piping without any piping mod.
Key to a sparkling pool is chlorine, filtration and vacuuming. The filters are a snap to clean and you should only have to do that about every six months unless you have a very high bather load.
Cons
Shameful, shameful, shameful. Received and multiple internally broken parts. No recourse for repair or to replace pressure gauge.

Originally had model 320, and luckily caught the damage before severe rupture, pool guys wanted to charge over $2400.
Also try to avoid 90 degree angle's at all costs, 90 degree angles restrict water flow a lot more than you think.

Got delivered to me in less then 24 hours of my order and was exactly what is described in the add.
The pool cleared super quickly with the new filters.
I asked for the part and it was shipped out that day.
Waiting a week for the delivery was longer than i wanted to wait, but the savings was worth it.
Packaging/appearance
Box includes all parts, so replacement is surprisingly quick.
The package included all items needed and installation was very easy.
Box not really designed for the horrors of cross country shipping.
Box was beat up and one part was broken so we use the part from our old one .

As you can see the warranty 1 year is outrageously expensive

It isnt easy to clean because of the metal belt sealing the top and bottom together and the bottom plug is in a terrible place and very hard to get to

The only problem i had was the ring had a long gash in it

We were fighting with our 30000 gallon in ground pool for weeks trying to get it balanced and clean to no avail

It was always low on chlorine all the chlorine we have been able to buy is made in china so we had doubts on its purity
