Quality
Kudos to pentaire for a great product.
After 1 full season, i’m very pleased.
The sweep came with the house (and the pool).
It goes up the walls pretty well, where they are rounded, but can't do that with the square cornered steps.
Price
Now i see that the price has dropped to $480 including shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Everything worked correctly right out of the box!
I put this guy in there and it was clean in a couple hours, and couple times of emptying out the bag.
Competitiveness
It works better than the leading competitor's i owned.
Repalced my 10 year old pentaire legend platinum with this new ll505g kreepy krauly legend and i am very impressed with this new unit.
I had an old model kreepy krauly which was over 10 years old that gave out!
I've had many pool sweepers over the years (jandy ray vac and polaris 280).

Squeezing the tubing on can be a pain but that is always the case no matter what vac you are working with my tip is to make sure you put the plastic nut fitting on the vac part and not on the hose first as i did by mistake and had to then had to redo it

The vac is preset to a very slow unuseful setting so if you dont adjust that first before putting in the pool you might think that it doesnt work

It is set at super slow and will be unproductive if you do not turn this

If the vac is doing wheels is not going to be sitting properly to vacuum
