They are lightweight and good quality. I keep a pair in my backpack always. Great for birding.

Compact, lighter, more compact pair of binoculars. Can be stashed in a handbag or glove compartment. Great for birdwatching.

Also the pentax is fog proof and waterproof, rated submersible to one meter for 30 minutes. Super compact, lightweight and easy to use as well. Waterproof to three feet.

Optically, these binoculars are excellent. The optics appear fine, with decent brightness and resolution. The lenses are clear and bright, and the 8x magnification is great.
