Works great and has no problems other than it makes the camera a bit heavier which is to be expected.

During a recent 2 day track meet, about 6 hours of shooting each day, i was unable to exhaust the grip and camera.

I did find i turned off the controls on the grip as i kept bumping them while holding the camera.

Good price and great balance on the camera.

The fact that this unit is now offered for 125 bucks made it irresistible!

I do not use the aa battery pack because amazon has a deal on a 2900 mah battery for $2.

99 each and they really are what they claim to be.

Highly recommend this to any k3 owner.

Like most things, pentax only change something when there is a sound non profiteering reason.

Bought this along with the pentax k-3 a few weeks ago.
