Pros

Camera feels rugged and durable. The camera has a chunky & quality feel.

The controls are so intuitive and the ergonomics means that i can change the settings without having to look at what * i'm pressing. This camera is also very customizable, coming in more than 30 different color combinations and has programmable *.

Even if you're already familiar with dslr caliber photography, i think you'll find the k-50 holds its own admirably. Built in flash is adequate but a bit finicky to tune just right.

Cons

I am fairly certain that i am experiencing a known manufacturer defect -- which is the aperture block failure. Just completely disappointed in this brand.
