Pentax's in-body image stabilization helps with this. The ultrasonic focusing (sdm) is a bit quieter, but no big deal. The pentax auto focus is very quiet.

Cons

Long zoom lens can't decide what to focus on fast enough. Pentax k5 may have a compatibility issue.

My spouse still has the pentax 18-250mm while i'm shooting with the new pentax 18-270mm.
