Pros

Great camera for those looking to get into manual slr film photography. Mm is the best format.

The camera works perfectly and has never malfunctioned. Lots of online support because of the timelessness of this camera. The only possible gripe i have is that the lens cap code not fit tightly and is prone to falling off.

The camera and lense were very accurately described by the seller, as looking like new. The metal frame holds up extremely well. The lens is not the original, but a slightly newer, just as good if not better lens.

Review is for the copy i received from the seller. There was also black fuzz blocking the viewfinder.

The point and shoot lens is perfect for everyday photography but i also bought a zoom lens at a camera store for a relatively low price.

I did some research on beginner cameras and im so glad i chose the pentax k1000.

I had to have one and it seemed that the best brand i kept getting pointed to was the good-old pentax k-1000.
