Ive also noticed that if i shut the camera down and let it rest for a few minutes the batterycharge indicator will pop back up to almost fully charged when i turn the camera back on

At first i was put off by youtube video reviews of this camera done by socalled “influencers” and sales reps of camera stores complaining that the kp couldn’t do 4k video that it wasn’t mirrorless and that it was uncomfortable to hold and not very good value and dslr was dead therefore i should get a mirrorless camera

I considered getting a speed booster and a micro four thirds camera but then realized that this would introduce another glass element and thus degrade the overall image quality

Then i dug a little deeper and read and watched reviews by actual photographers who are in it for the art and then i realized that the kp might actually be the best camera value today

The fact that the pentax body can stabilize any lens attached to it added to the fact that it can be used with every 35mm and dslr lens pentax has ever made on top of the fact that pentax lenses are generally less expensive than equivalent lenses with stabilization is plenty enough on its own to justify paying a little more for a pentax body and this fact is often overlooked by influencers
