Pros
All of these deserve a 4. Last long. Have a nice scratchy but not too scratchy feel to them. Smooth when writing which makes my handwriting easy.
My favourite. Great product. Does the job brilliantly. Very pleased.
Cons
Pentel clutch pencils are useless. They crumble to dust as soon you touch the paper and have a very scratchy feel.

However if you buy their coloured lead variations those certainly do break with very little pressure
