Pros

It's both smoother and darker than the normal cheap lead in pencils. Good quality and writes draws well. I use fountain pens for most purposes, but when i do need a pencil, pentel ain stein is my go to lead.

It's almost as smooth as a ballpoint. Something more like a super-fine crayon rather than a scratchy pencil. As expected with 2b softness, it leaves dark rich lines.

This outperforms the kuru toga lead in their own rotating pencils. There are place on the internet that stock this lead in the us.

Cons

Never received it. Pencil leads are better than.

Shipping

I was very pleased with these leads, and the shipping was faster than expected - 4 or 5 days.

Product arrived far ahead of scheduled delivery date (at least one month early) and is exactly as described.

Packaging/appearance

This lead gives a nice dark line without breaking and its packed 40 leads per tube so its convenient to have a good supply.

On top of that, the japanese design of the packaging is exceptional (as expected!

Oh and the container is uber cool!
