Pros & Cons
Pros
Be playful, see how colors blend, see the differences between using a wetter or dryer brush, fill a page with color. I use distilled water because my local water has high mineral content to keep the bristles nice. It took me awhile to get use to using... Read More
Cons
I am very disappointed that i was deceived and wasted my money on this. Amazon should not allow this deception, this is a disgrace.
These are pretty aweful and they are an off brand a fake. There is no pentel name on them and the caps are subtly different compared to the product photo. This is falsely advertised as the pentel brushes but beware because they are certainly not.
The plastic brush tip was ragged. More comes out of the side where the head screws on than comes out to the brush tip.
Water brush emits so much water through the brush even if you don't apply pressure. Even with the slightest squeeze, the water pools on the side of the nib.
Highlights
Quality
Nice range of brush tips, and the bristles stay in place, and give a good flow.

They come to a sharp point and the water flows just right after you get them started the first time.
Price
The 4 pack is a good bargain with variety in brush tips.
They are a value for the money and getting them in a pack of 4 saves you money.
These are more expensive than most of the cheap ones but are not leaking.
Shipping
I placed my order through amazon prime and received the genuine pentel brand; not a knock-off.
Competitiveness
Pentel is just a great company anyway.
See the difference between the old brushes (with the red circles) and a new brush.
Please make sure you are getting the pentel brand and not the cheap chinese no-name kind.
I've tried other brands of water brushes.

I’ve tried the random chinese brands before and their tips splay after a few uses sometimes after 1 and while my old aquashes did clog after i beat them up by filling them with my own ink concoctions they could be cleaned out and still useful as dry brushes
