Pros & Cons

Pros

One of my all time fave brush pens in all new colors. The colors are consistent and standardised, and it seems like every batch is the same so far, unlike arteza who has some quality control issues. The colours are pretty pastels.

Beautifully pigmented, easy to use brush calligraphy pens. Perfect for hand lettering.

Pentel sign pens are quality fude flexible tip pens that glide across the paper with such ease! Tip size is good for journaling. The variable width from pressure and angle is fun. They are a little more stiff than tombow brush pens, but that can make ...  Read More

These aren't the cheapest pens, however they are a great quality and last a long time. Some of them write smoother than others. Definitely no ghosting.

The pentel colors are a little more vibrant (brighter) and the brush is softer. The darks don't look too saturated and the lighter colors show up even on this cream rhodia paper. Colors are vibrant and will be purchasing again once ink runs out.

Cons

Ghosting to bleeding on my leuchtturm 1917 dotted bullet journal. Do not recommend.

Quality

It’s easier to start with the markers and then move on to sipped pen.

These markers work great, but the ones with the hard tips are better for beginners.

The ones with the smoothest writing are labeled "touch", and the other ones are labeled "brush sign pen".

Packaging/appearance

You can see i received a mix match of 7 pens with english labelling and the other 5 with japanese labelling.

Competitiveness

They are a little more stiff than tombow brush pens, but that can make them easier to control.

I love these brush pens more than tombow’s!

They both have there pros and cons (depending on your intended use) but, tombow has competition when it comes to this buyer.

I like these a little more than the fudenosuke brush pens.
