If you're looking for a never-fail eraser, skip the rectangular ones regardless of the quality claim and go for these.
If you have never used them, they click out about 1/8 inch at a time, and these white erasers do not leave pink marks behind.

It is cheaper to buy it in a bulk rather just a couple in walmart.
