Pros
The only down side for me is that the ink doesn't exactly bleed to the other side of the paper but it is quite visible which can be distracting on lighter weight paper. They write beautifully. The ink is nice and bold and dries very quickly.
The gel pin is inbetween a pencil and ball point pens for control. I use a gripper to help it be more comfortable. Easy to find refills.
Cons
G2 gel pens leak badly. Pen casing comes apart. No way to tell if ink is running low.

Super easy to write with, the ink dries fast and never had problems with any leaking.
Easy to write with, nice weight, long lasting.
Didn’t discover that the 2nd pen didn’t work until past return date!
The ink does not smear, glides well, i can't say enough!
Price
Were purchased at a reasonable price and work well.
These are worth the money, will order again.
Competitiveness
I like these even more than pilot pens.
Before the pentel energel i was using some different pens from a brand i trust but were underwhelming.
The pentel energel feels like a more expensive pen despite being less expensive than the pens i was using prior.
The other brand still makes great markers.
