Pros

It writes even smoother than the bl17-c, no drag, and the ink dries quicker. My writing just glides across the page with ease. They write really smooth, with no skips or drags.

The earlier ones used to leak during air travel (i travel a lot so it is imp to me), but the new ones appear to be leak proof. This new model is functionally the same and works just as well if not better.

I can't believe i was so willing to run to someone new just to save a dollar or two.

Just wish they were a little cheaper.

Amazon had the best price, so i bought a box of 12, and now i have enough to keep me in purple gel ink for at least a year.

I have been diligently searching for a pen to replace the bl17-c since pentel no longer makes it.

I write a lot, and i favor these pens above almost all others i've tried.

Pentel, i'm sorry i strayed; i really thought your competitors' gel pens would be just as good.

The purple ink is really hard to find unless you go directly to the pentel website.
