Pros
Whether jotting down notes or working on a project, the energel pearl deluxe pens make writing a pleasure. As a teacher a great pen is a necessity and these pentel pens are superb.
Ink colors are are vibrant and dry quickly, no smearing. Dries without smudging except on shiney cards or on non poris paper. The retractable feature is convenient.
Cons
Pens popping open in the middle. I have so much skipping when i write that the words are illegible. This bodes ill for the pen's feature of using (apparently, anyway) refillable cartridges.
The black one, from me carrying it around, spontaneously disassembled in my pocket(s) three times in the first several weeks. They ride in my scrub pocket for a month then fall apart.

They glide right across the paper and dry quickly.
It’s very lose on the pens and jiggles around making a noise while you write or move the pen around.

I also have pilot g2, uniball signo 207 and several gel pens from other brands, but most of these other pens are not even close... Read More
