Pros

These are great, reasonably priced, permanent ink pens! Remins me of the old fountain pen.

The energel has a soft, textured rubber grip point. It comfortably sits in the hand without moving. That means those of us with bum hands or arthritis will benefit from them.

Ink dries super quickly and doesn't smudge. Barrel is not obnoxiously sized. It is there to prevent ink from drying up.

Cons

Pens are defective. They are severely disappointing. Pentel had to have known this pen was defective.

The quality is low. Wasn't worth the hassle of returning them. A waste of a few bucks.

Ink flow is inconsistent. When they do write, they write scratchy. They also fade. The ink cartridges inside these are junk.

It skips a lot. Even in a fresh notebook with so much cushion it skips. It's frustratingly unusable.
