Pros & Cons
Pros
The pen uses a wide variety of long-lasting refills.
These slender, stylish writing implements have a satisfying heft. The ink and housing are both well made. It writes smoothly and is sleek.
They have replaceable innards that come in a variety of sizes. It is scratched up but still intact. Compared with the click-type retractable version, this has a more solid feel to it.
The metal body of the energel style is durable, evenly weighted, and has a smooth, self-rotating tip retraction unlike any other pen i've ever used. I'm picky about pens and was surprised to find a very nice-looking heavier than it looks pen.

Also, these metal version pens make a nice looking gift for under $20!
For a luxury pen, it's well worth the price!
I think the post its are just cheap honestly.
They are expensive, but i continue to replace them because the writing experience is worth it to me.

I've used a few of pentel's pen designs but this is my favorite.
If you're looking for a pen that's reliable, comfortable, and just plain fun to use, look no further than the pentel energel.
The style is definitely a different look and uses the energels, but it costs significantly more than the alloy and seriously mo... Read More
