The eraser comes with a shaft clearing needle on the underside of it that is hidden inside the pen so if you have an issue you may clear the tip with it. Eraser erases the 4b lead very well. It removes to open up the barrel for leads.

Mm mechanical pencil. Perfect photo prop for architectural sketches and moleskine jottings. I really like for my cursive to be fancy and this mechanical pencil is perfect for that.

Cons

The eraser is also very hard to use and cannot be altered easily. Fooled with it for a while, tried to fix, had to toss. Now it's just one that will get tossed aside and forgotten about.
