Pros
Beautiful writing tool, one of my favorites. By far my favourite pencil. The pencil is on the heavier side compared to other mechanical pencils, but this also gives the pencil a better presence in one's hand.
Best feature is the retractable tip that protects the lead when the pencil is in your pocket or shop apron. Significant improvement over bic disposable - leads are much more sturdy.
Overall, the cost of the product is easily shadowed by its design quality, thus proving to be a worthwhile investment. The only downside is that there are more beautiful looking options out there.
Cons
The pencil has no packaging whatsoever and was bare *. The lead also gets jammed quite often. For these purpose, these are absolutely impractical to say the least.

If you don't have the pentel graphgear 1000, you'll never know the meaning of life.
The pentel graphgear 1000 is a pretty nice mechanical pencil.

It also doesn’t have a lot of pencil grade indicators although it has more than its 0

Finally it isn’t as good at maintaining the same point as the kuru toga roulette model nor is it as good at break resistance

For that reason the kuru toga is better at detail work and is a lot more versatile in art

However the kuru toga does have some problems that make this pencil better in general

For instance the graph gear 1000 travels better is better at work or in class while the kuru toga is better in the studio
