The graph gear 1000 is sooooo comfortable to write with and it feels like it was engineered for perfection. However, the larger black eraser is very nice. I love writing with this pencil because of how smoothly it writes and how it feels to hold it.
The weight is perfect, grip is not tiring, and it does not leave a callous on my finger! The size of the barrel and heft is just right.
Cons
The lead uptake mechanism has broken after a month of regular use. The warranty is only for 2 months. The pental graph gear seems stiff when using and i just don't like using this pencil.

Highly recommend, it will last you for years so paying a bit more for it (over others) is more than worth the cost.
The graphgear 1000 is a little heavier and a little wider than the zebra.
Before i bought it i was using a zebra m-301 so that's my comparison.

The pointy bit on the end retracts when the pocket clip is depressed so you wont poke a whole in your shirt
