Pros

Pentel hi polymer erasers are the only type of pencil-end erasers to use. They erase so cleanly and rarely leave ghost trails behind. There are crumbs, however compared to a traditional eraser, it's alot less.

It isn't a deal breaker for me, because i am not sure if this one is even supposed to do that or not. The way the other brand advertises that as a feature. Great quality. Great value for 4-pack.

The black eraser is much easier to erase with than the white eraser. Each image set is a before erasure/after erasure comparison.

Cons

These eraser caps are supposed to fit snugly on top of the pencil. These erasers fall apart when using. How is it possible that a brand like pental makes erasers that don't erase?

How frustrating. At first glance they seem like the would be perfect, but upon using them the experience fell short. Once this happens, they're basically useless.

I tested them against a regular, good quality traditional (pink) pencil eraser.

This eraser can make graphite marks disappear from paper almost completely.

I have a pink eraser from a couple of years ago, and now it's almost impossible to use because the outside has gotten all hard and stiff.

Price

I saw these add on erasers at a good price and bought them.

Good value and i have spares now.

Pay another buck or so and get an eraser worthy of the place on your desk.
