I like to work with ballpoint pen alot and this will add an extra set of tones/values that i would otherwise have to work very hard to achieve. The tips stay exactly as when new as long as you don't use force. It doesn't take a lot of water or effort ... Read More

The synthetic nib holds its point really well. The round brush tip is really smooth and holds the pigment very well. Stores easily and can easily replace conventional watercolor brushes.

This water brush is honestly wonderful. Otherwise it's perfect! Seems okay. Totally recommend it.

Cons

Watercolors get soaked with water from the leaking water better than from the actual brush tip. I think these are made cheaper and that the valves are not good. Would be in japanese.

Competitiveness

I've purchased other water brush brands and pentel is the only one i'll use for a few reasons.

One, it's the easiest to use-i have arthritic hands and i simply can't squeeze the other brands.
