Pros & Cons
Pros
There just isn’t a mechanical pencil that competes. When multiple people want to swipe your pencil, you know it's the right one.
The included eraser is a bit greyer than the white vinyl erasers i am used to. I like having extras on hand to use as gifts for people who are list makers who must edit, meaning erase, and rewrite. As always, same great pentel sharp mechanical pencils... Read More
Add lead, reassemble and carry on using a dandy well priced mechanical pencil. The retractable tip is also a great feature as it keeps the lead safe and prevents any accidental pokes.
Cons
The pencils are very light and insubstantial. Only a few have the flaw of this a sticky sticker containing the upc number runs down the barrel of the pencil.
Skip this one and avoid disappointment. The lead no longer feeds. There is no tool provided to clear the jammed lead, evidently because such a tool is “too dangerous.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy and comfortable pencil to use.
These pencils are sturdy and are as described.
They are light enough when you drop them it doesn’t immediately bend the tip rendering it useless.
Lead doesn't break every word you write.
Price
Not worth the headache at this time.
I used to buy very inexpensive packs at the office supply store.
I just added the cost into the workshop fee.
Packaging/appearance
Two to a package with good durable graphite pencil leads!
" they are advertising for boxes of 12 pencils in the $8 - $15 range, but only shipping a single pencil.
I’m glad they come in a two pack, although it would be nice if they were different colors.
Competitiveness
We finally stopped buying cheaper brands and just buy pentel now.
