Well over 50 years and these work and the lead i purchased is great for my other mechanical pencils.
Really enjoy using this pencil it functions really well, the pencil allows the user a trouble free tool to use for a low stress experience.
They are light enough when you drop them it doesn’t immediately bend the tip rendering it useless.
The thinner lead breaks and i have used mechanical pencils for over 50 hears.

They might have gotten it in the early 1942 before my dad went to fight in the pacific during wwii with the marines.
