This style is my very favorite. The pastels are such beautiful colors! It’s elegant and timeless. The ones from sakura are great.

Cons

Pentel pencils are wonderful, but this one has a built-in flaw. Only a few have the flaw of this a sticky sticker containing the upc number runs down the barrel of the pencil. The barrel is just unpleasant to the point of being unusable.

Quality

But you can't beat the quality, these are top of the line.

The quality seems the same though i used .

They might have gotten it in the early 1942 before my dad went to fight in the pacific during wwii with the marines.

Competitiveness

I've preferred these as they are comparitively low maintenance.

Bought as a cheap throw away for my field kit (wildlife biology) incase it was lost.

I only like to use this brand and not other brands.
